Hades Halo Trilogy Alexandra Adornetto Books

I did not expect anything that happened. This particular angel themed book has taken me by surprise with each page turn.
The great descriptions really set the tone for the book and had a way of sucking you into the story. I found myself unable to put the book down! The description in the book for particular scenes on Earth and in Hades made you feel like you were there feeling the heat of the flames licking at you, the emotional distress of having been snatched away from your loved ones, and feeling the pressure of trying to make the right choice to protect loved ones.
What I really like about this series is that this book tries to show what real love is, not the material and physical lust that most mistake for love. In this book it shows the maturing process of those blinded by hormonal and physical love and finally seeing the light of the real love that binds two individuals together.
This book shows how some people go through different trials in their lives and the decisions that they make affect not only themselves but those around them as well.
This book is a heart clincher and that draws you in, makes you feel the deep connections with all of the characters and you experience the same emotions they feel.
I have thoroughly loved this book for all of the twists and turns that it takes you through, and it may be my favorite of the three.

Hades Halo Trilogy Alexandra Adornetto Books Reviews

Startet to read halo for fun and endet up hook to this series. Easy reading and a wonderful lovestory. The author write very fluid and you just keep reading the book.If you don't like to much Heaven or hell cliche, don't read this book. It is a look about Heaven and Hell how the author imagine it combine with a sweet love story. Just great reading

As the sequel toNew York Time's Bestseller, Halo, this book exceed ed all expectations. At only 18, Alexandra has blown away all readers around the world with Halo and continues to do that with Hades, and later on in Heaven, the third (and maybe final) book in the halo series.

In the first book, Bethany Church, an angel, falls in love with Xavier which isn't good to put it bluntly. Jake Thorn, a Prince or Hell, arrives and tries to woo Bethany into his arms and instead gets banished by her brother Gabriel. Ms. Adornetto could've done so many things in Hades, so many different roads to take this story, but this was one I didn't expect. not until I read the blurb that is.

Different from so many paranormal stories, Bethany and her siblings, Ivy abd Gabriel, aren't fallen angels, or Nephilim, but angels straight from up above. This fact itself makes it original (I used to think that angels with halos and giant wings were pretty stupid. Now? Tch. AS IF!) , but Hades makes this tale a legend in the book world. An angel kidnapped by a lovesick demon, and brought to hell. WHO has ever done that before? It's deliciously original.

I loved Bethany. She was weaker than Kaniss, Juliette, Meghan, Nora, all of them. But really, you have to expect that. She's an angel. She isn't that used to the "evils of the world" that we see every day. But the fact that she was one step away from killing herself for just one glimpse of Xavier really did piss me off. I'm all for romance. But desperation for one look? No. Just no.

I loved the description of Hell because it's so much more complex (wait...don't smite me God!) and interesting than a giant lake of lave like so many people imagine. Everyone loves a little flash from the past, so when a certain ghost shows up and gives us a new insight of life, we're all happy!

Alexandra Adornetto somehow adds moral with a romantic fantasy at a young age and inspires so many o fus young writers that we can get published too!
Hades was a beautifully scripted book. The characters were well defined in this book, and there was no straying Bethany away from her virtuous core. In this book, Bethany finds herself being pulled down in the third circle of hell. Some of you might not know, but this is a take on Dante's Inferno. There are nine circle's of hell total in Dante's Inferno, and Adornetto mentions the ninth circle being ruled by Lucifer himself. I know some have mentioned that this version of hell, which in the book they referred to as Hades, was not in fact hell. But if one has read Dante's Inferno, and knows the reference, the third circle is the hell of Gluttony. This is perfectly portrayed in Adornetto's version, and I feel the need to defend her. I have personally read Dante's Inferno, and others that may not understand the take she took on hell would do well to read some Dante.

The story was well crafted, and intense from the start. It was action packed, and there were moments where I though Bethany would lose, where things got so bad, you couldn't see a way for her to get out, and then you'd be surprised, out of no where, at how she manages to survive. And the most beautiful message in this book is that Love. Conquers. All. If you thought Xavier and Bethany's love was beautiful in Halo, then you will love how deeply you see their love grown in Hades. Not even Hell itself can keep them apart.

Praise for Hades! I cannot wait for the third book!
