Pangaea A Utopian Fantasy AJ Questerly Don Gerron 9781505911954 Books
A few years ago, I came across a book entitled The Minstrel's Tale, written by Anna Questerly, and I fell in love with the characters, the style of writing, and the author who was sharing her talents so beautifully.Remembering how I devoured the trilogy of the Minstrel (yes, there are THREE more books that you have to read!) I took my time reading this book, savoring every page, and loving every minute of it.
The concepts AJ Questerly writes about are a little foreign and familiar all at the same time. Some of the visualizations AJ helps me see and feel are so incredibly real, that I felt I was right there in Pangaea, learning about my new world, and not wanting to leave it.
Once again, AJ Questerly has left me wanting more of what I just read. Long before her next book (and I HOPE AJ is already busy writing the next book!) is published, I will have re-read Pangaea so that I can, once again visit that incredible place. Thanks! :-)

Pangaea A Utopian Fantasy AJ Questerly Don Gerron 9781505911954 Books Reviews
Wonderfully inventive fantasy.
I don't usually read fantasy but this book was a fun change. Strong character identities, imaginative but believableplots and the vivid descriptions of life and traditions on Pangaea easily transport you and keep your attention. If only I could get my hands on one of those bracelets... -)
Never wanted to put this book down. I was drawn in right from the beginning and couldn't wait to read more. Thank you A. J. for another amazing book.
I really REALLY enjoyed this book! The world that is created truly takes you beyond what I had imagined. The change in point of view by each chapter is something I do favor so that you can keep up with the characters and story, makihg you want to know more and more.
These characters are definitely unique and have heir own flair, which doesn't come easy.
A wonderful read that I'll keep for years to come and go over again and again. Since I already miss the world of Pangea.
Normally I do not read fantasy books, however, this was an amazing book. I couldn't put it down. The author grabs your attention from the beginning and draws you in making you want more. The characters are well developed and make you feel what they are feeling and going through at the time. There is only one disappointment and that was the book ended! I encourage everyone to read this book and immerse yourself in another world.
I've never read a story quite like this before. A nice change from the murder and mayhem of much of today's politics and news. The short chapters made me fly through the book much too quickly as I would have loved to spend more time in this paradise. I enjoyed the Pangaean take on Earth history through the ages and even the 'science' was believable. The author took a lot of chances with this book such as using gender neutral pronouns. They felt odd at first, but soon felt natural to me as I read. The ending wrapped up nicely, but left room for a sequel. I hope there's one coming...I'd love to return to Pangaea.
Uniquely written--chapters oscillate between first and third person narrative.
At first this was jarring, but a few chapters in I began to see some really interesting things Questerly was able to do because of this decision. For another author it may have been a crippling decision, but the writing is kept on-point and this back-and-forth in and out of first person ends up adding to the experience instead of diminishing it.
Aside from that, the characters are well-rounded, the plot is intriguing, and the world created by the words is divine.
I'll be recommending A.J. to all fans of the fantasy genre.
