I enjoyed this story. So many times, we get used to seeing people in one way & we can’t change our perceptions. That’s what’s happened her. Adelyn has forced herself to see Jason as just a friend & it’s hard to change that. She’s afraid of being hurt & also afraid that if they change their relationship she’ll lose him forever if it doesn’t work out. Although this is book 3 & the weddings of the couples from book 1 & 2 are a large part of it, it really stands on its own. I can’t wait to read the final book!

This series just keeps getting better! Adelyn thinks she knows what she wants in a man, but second guesses herself when she isn't finding the perfect guy. Jason knows he can check off everything on that list, all while working together to get his yard ready for two different weddings. Daniel is a nice guy and genuinely likes Adelyn as well. Heather writes a story that you can't put down. I love seeing the emotion and relationships with all of the people as this series continues!
Jason is Adelyn's best friends brother. They have become good friends but along the way, Jason fell in love with Adelyn.
Due to her parents bad examples, Adelyn is unable to see what is right in front of her - Jason. She has a list of the perfect qualities in a guy and Jason sets out to check all of them off - and does quite well!
I am not going to say there weren't times that Adelyn made me want to shake her for being to blind - but I soon got over it as the book progressed.

This is a great read and I highly recommend this book! Heather Tullis has done an outstanding job and I am excited to read more!
This is the third book in "In the Garden" series. This story follows Adelyn and Jason as they work together to get Jason's house ready to host two weddings. Jason has feelings for Adelyn and she sees him as just her best friend's big brother and loyal friend. The dynamics between the two are interesting as he continually gives her hints of his feelings and she is completely oblivious to them. I was a little frustrated with Adelyn in this book because not only does she not see the perfect guy right in front of her but she continually ignores warning signs that the guy she's dating is not right for her. I admired Jason's perseverance and thoughtfulness and although Adelyn is clueless at times she was endearing to me as well. Although I loved this book and all the characters in it, I would have loved to have seen more of Adelyn and Jason as a couple. This is a light-hearted romance that anyone would enjoy.
I loved seeing Adelyn's story unfold. She is the friend that seems to have it all together and is content with the life she has. She never lets on that she might be getting lonely but watching her parents marriage history does not make her want to rush into marriage with anyone. Jason is her best friend's brother and has become one of her best friends too. What Adelyn doesn't know is that Jason is in love with her and has been since he came back from his last deployment. I have to give Jason a bunch of credit that he has kept his feelings in check and doesn't try to force anything that might not be there from Adelyn. As the two work together to finish Jason's house and yard in preparation for two of their friend's weddings, it gets harder and harder for Jason to remain silent. I really enjoyed following the story of Jason and Adelyn. I like the close knit friendships they have with their group and that they are all there for each other. I also love that they are all respectful of one another while at the same time encouraging each other to go for what they want. I would highly recommend this clean romance book!
This book goes on and on. The guy has loved her for years but Adelyn just can't figure it out. She just can't get it together. Also am tired of the garden thing. One can only take so about planting flowers and vegetables. Will not be buying the next book
I'm glad I have all 4 books in this series, it's great to read them one after the other. This one is about Adelyn and Jason. She 's planned the weddings for Piper and Maddie, both held at Jason's, a week apart, in the backyard she spent the summer planning and planting, with help from all their friends. Jason finally realizes he loves her but she's dating Daniel. Takes her awhile to see the differences in the 2 guys, and which one really fits her. One more to go!
Jason and Adelyn are so wonderful together while helping their friends during their wedding plannings. The feelings are their but they don't want to hurt each other since they have been friends for years. The house seems so beautiful and they all have worked so hard on it. Love the ups and downs in their relationship. Love all the characters in this book.
